KACCI Renown College of Nursing Sciences, Afikpo, was founded by Mrs. Anthonia Ugo Ukor-Uduma, a professional healthcare administrator from Afikpo with extensive experience in healthcare practice and leadership in the United States of America.
Growing up in a community where quality healthcare was often out of reach, she saw first-hand the role nurses and midwives play in preserving life and supporting families. The College was established to bridge international best practice with local healthcare needs — a centre of excellence producing competent, compassionate, and globally competitive nurses and midwives.
We combine modern teaching methods with hands-on clinical training at our school-based teaching hospital, and through outreach and community postings our students learn the true meaning of service.

KACCI is located in Afikpo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State — unarguably a must-visit tourist destination in southeastern Nigeria. Tucked away in the undulating, serene terrains of Ugwuegu, a community that overlooks Ozizza beach, a waterway forming the boundary between Ebonyi and Cross River states.
Afikpo is generally peaceful and hospitable, with socio-cultural rarities that exude an air of welcome to all comers. It is home to the first Governor General of the East Central Region, HRH Ezeogo Francis Akanu Ibiam, and the historical Nkwaumuagbogho Dance group.

A minimum of five credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB — in not more than two sittings.
Yes — WAEC and NECO results can be combined, in not more than two sittings. NABTEB results are accepted but cannot be combined with any other.
The minimum age for entry is 16 years. There is no maximum age.
Admission is through UTME. The admission committee sets a cut-off mark and invites candidates to a screening made up of a written test and an oral interview. Successful candidates are published on the college website and in the media, then pay a non-refundable fee and collect their prospectus with the resumption date.
Four years — ND1, ND2, HND1 and HND2 — with two semesters each. Students write the Final Qualifying Examination for Registered Nurses in the second semester of HND1.
Accept and register within four weeks, or the offer lapses. You will pay a non-refundable acceptance fee and sign the acceptance register and a letter of undertaking, which your parent or guardian also signs. Orientation and a medical fitness examination take place in your first two weeks.
At the bank using the RRR payment method. Fees can change from session to session and include tuition plus yearly library, sports, development and computer/internet fees, indexing and laboratory charges as listed in the prospectus. Fees are not refundable.
Yes. The students’ hostel has a home matron, a sick bay and a reading room. Cooking is not allowed in the hostel and all students must be in by 6:30pm.
At least 80% lecture attendance is required to sit an examination. An absence of 21 days or more is treated as a break in training, and the student joins the set below.
